MALIYA VEST

A vest steeped in velvet and something older. The dense black base sets the stage for ornate embroidery that feels part ornamental, part ancestral. The composition draws from Anatolian motifs, echoing ancient weavings you might find in a sun-bleached archive or on the back of a caravan door. Scalloped crochet trims the edges in burnished gold, adding structure to the softness. Cropped at the waist, but very rich in detail.
