The polo shirt is an idea borrowed from sport, of course. This one, however, is less for the tennis court and more for... well, not the tennis court.
The main feature of this polo is its knit. It is a textured, geometric stitch that covers the entire garment, giving it structure and a distinct surface. A single navy stripe provides contrast at the polo collar, cuffs, and hem. The three-button placket is fastened with gold-toned metal knots. It’s a smart piece of knitwear, all told. Familiar in shape, but with enough going on in the texture and details to make it interesting.
